Tamiya Color Enamel Paints are used for brush or spray painting, and can be applied to almost any surface of wood, metal or plastic. Each bottle contains 10ml of paint, and when spray painting enamels, best results are achieved by adding 2 parts of thinner to 10 parts of paint.

●Never apply lacquer over enamel paints.

Mr.THINNER is necessary to thin paints and wash brushes. Mr.THINNER is a high quality material, so it is easy to use and mix with Mr.COLOR.

Mr. LEVELING THINNER is excellent for spray (airbrush) applicators. Mixing Mr. LEVELING THINNER into Mr. COLOR at a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 improves coat leveling and increases shine. When drying is slow because of insufficient air current during winter months, it is best to mix Mr. COLOR THINNER into Mr. LEVELING THINNER. The mixture will be dry to the touch after a period of about 10 minutes.

Mr.THINNER is necessary to thin paints and wash brushes. Mr.THINNER is a high quality material, so it is easy to use and mix with Mr.COLOR.

Aqueous Hobby Color is a paint line newly reformulated in 2020 and aimed to be a safer paint with a higher degree of user friendliness.

Aqueous Hobby Color paint is water based, which means you will never run out of thinner/reducer – you can use regular water. Tool cleanup is also easier as you can use water.

Aqueous Hobby Color paint does contain a mild solvent in it which helps a lot with the adhesion.

Leveling capabilities of this paint are high, it provides a glossy finish with a light texture, creating an excellent paint finish.

Gloss levels of the Aqueous paint can be adjusted using additives:

H-40 Flat Base can be mixed with any color and make the paint semi-gloss or even matte/flat. Mix ratio between 5% and 10% is recommended.

Mr. Aqueous Hobby Colors are ready for a regular brush application. They are also airbrush friendly; however, it is recommended to reduce it before use with an airbrush.

 As we mentioned earlier, regular water can be used as a reducer, but for the best result we recommend using Mr. Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner (T-110 or T-111).

Up to 150% of the reducer can be added to Aqueous paint for airbrush use.

When spraying paints with an airbrush, 2-3 coats are recommended. For regular brush use 1-2 coats is enough.

Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner is the perfect choice to thin Tamiya acrylic paint when spraying through an airbrush or cleaning bristle brushes. The formula within the thinner gives Tamiya acrylic paints the right consistency to blend colors without fading or spotting.

Mr Brush Cleaner Liquid is ideal for cleaning acrylic paint from paint brushes. It also conditions the brush hairs and helps maintain a supple brush. After the brush had been rinsed Mr Masking Sol Neo and Mr Masking Sol-R can be peeled off easily.
